November 11, 2010 4:50 pm at 4:50 pm in reply to: Amnesty: Prosecute Bush If He Authorized Waterboarding #713771Y.W. EditorKeymaster“Bush ignored many other laws including the one requiring the US Embassy in Israel to be moved to Jerusalem”
So did every other president. Including your pals Slick Willy, and BAM.
WIKIPEDIA: The Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995[1] [2] The act also called for Jerusalem to remain an undivided city and for it to be recognized as the capital of the State of Israel. Israel’s declared capital is Jerusalem, but this is not internationally recognized, pending final status talks in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The United States has withheld recognition of the city as Israel’s capital. The proposed law was adopted by the Senate (93-5),[3] and the House (374-37).[4]
Y.W. EditorKeymasterNot a bad idea.
It’s just a tremendous amount of work trying to gather all that info. Not to mention that times of shiurim change all the time.
The only option is to make it a reader-submitted section, and you guys would need to constantly update it with shiurim.
We’ll send it the board of directors for a vote…..

Y.W. EditorKeymasterYWN recently added an iPad in our fleet of computers….
It serves no purpose besides a very “cute toy” which would be perfect for ladies surfing the web going shopping for designer shoes.
Just our opinion 🙂
Y.W. EditorKeymasterHere is a question:
Does a bais din need (al pi halacha) to send three hazmanos before writing a siruv? Or is it just the minhag?

June 29, 2010 2:47 am at 2:47 am in reply to: Sforim that have Segulas associated with them #1115071Y.W. EditorKeymasterMishna Berurah – all 5 Chalokim. Learn it, and know basic halacha very well.
Really easy segulah.
As a side note, there is a segulah in the aseres hadibros. Kabed es avicha v’es imech lmaan yarichun ya’amecha.
No kupat ha’ir “guarantees” needed. Straight from maamad har sinai.
Pretty simple.
Y.W. EditorKeymasterSpeak to a Rabbi, but perhaps Matzah can work for you.
Good luck!
