Moshe Rabbeinu was also fat but I doubt it was because he ate so much. I’m not sure why he was fat but it’s mashma that its a maalah.

The bottom line is if I broke or ruined someone else’s property I would feel obligated to offer compensation and not wait to be approached.

You should ask YOUR Rebbe this question. I’m assuming you have one. If you don’t then go get one. This is a question one needs to ask his personal Rebbe who can guide him with what would be best for him in his situation. There’s no one size fits all answer to this question. Or to most if not all of life’s questions for that matter. That’swhy it is so so important to have a wise and trusted Rebbe that one can turn to to discuss important life decisions and issues.

You are clearly in touch with the wrong shadchanim. If I were you I’d go shopping for new ones lol. Seriously though, I go through the guys version of this. Most shadchanim have no business being in the business. They just try to match up pants with skirt. Or if they think there’s something wrong with you they redt you someone with some issues. Its not easy.

I’m pretty sure you can find stuff on ani maamin on aish or kiruv dot come. If you want a book check out Rabbi Kaplan The Aryeh Kaplan anthology book 1. If you are working in kiruv Rabbi Kaplan books are a must-have.

It really depends on how heavy he was and if he should have reasonably expected that a regular chair or bench of that strength can’t easily tolerate his weight.

Its not geneiva though. The only time you may not cover a song without consent of the copyright holder is when you intend to monetize your recording but if you weren’t selling it but just did it for kicks it’s no problem. I agree that maybe it would have been better that he never had recorded it in the first place but I don’t take him to task for knowing the song. He isn’t oiver any aveira for hearing a man sing a song that has nothing inappropriate in it.

You can respectfully ask questions like if you saw different in such and such sefer you can say you don’t understand because you saw such and such in x sefer.

Wow, if the chair was expensive and you aren’t able to replace it without the cost hurting you badly due to your financial situation you have every right to ask for the money. He is an Adam HaMazik. He is obligated to pay. You don’thave to embarrass him just simply state the fact that you want to replace the chair and it costs x to do so. DDon’t make a fight about it. But you have every right to stick up for yourself here and claim what is due you.

Not sure its gezel, you have many singers covering others songs especially this song, and additionally this wasnt meant for public distribution so it was just a singer singing a song at a random event that wasnt meant to be recorded. It was a concert and a special child made the request of him and he reluctantly gave in and sang the song. I dont know if its a chillul Hashem or not obviously I dont think we should be singing non Jewish songs but the lyrics and tune happen to be inspirational so I dont know. But I definitely think A.K.A. Pella 4, Maccabeats, Mattisyahu and similar cds are a chillul Hashem.
