    MCHEMTOB- that’s exactly my son!

I was thinking about therapy but was wondering if that’s the right step.

I still don’t understand how the two are connected(speech therapy and swallowing) but I think I’ll consider it if it will help. Thank you!

OOMIS- I always make sure that the pieces of food are cut into small pieces. He just chews up the food and keeps it in his mouth. By forever I mean it literally(well almost!!)

I once decided to ignore and see how long he’ll keep it there. After 1 and a half hours I gave up and took it out of his mouth.

I hope its just a passing stage, but while were in that stage, its very frustrating because he ends up staying hungry. His first bite stays in his mouth and that’s it with that meal.

    I love this thread!

I’m always very into good ads…I go through every ad in the newspapers and comment each one! I love good ads and I get all tensed up from ads that are not so good!

You just gotta use common sense. Looks are a VERY IMPORTANT factor in a shidduch but not the MOST important one.

Its very right to date girls that you think look pretty but its wrong to go only for the absolute most gorgeous girls. That means looking on outsides.

As a side note, how many woman start out beautiful and then put up a ton of weight, or get a whole bunch of pimples on their face or whatever…

Looks is up to hashem too…

I like to make them small- don’t forget they grow a lot when cooking them, and them I serve 2 small ones to each person. I think it looks nicer in the plate.

Barrack Obama was touring the countryside in his chauffeur-driven limo.

Suddenly, a male donkey jumps out onto the road, they hit it full on and the car comes to a stop.

The chauffeur gets out, checks and reports that the animal is dead.

Hours later, the chauffeur returns totally plastered, hair ruffled with a big grin on his face.

As a general rule, I never serve my kids food that I didn’t temperature test with my own fingers. It may not sound too great but I actually touch their food and check if its not too hot.(Wash hands first please!

That includes when making them warm milk bottles too, I feel the milk to make sure its not too hot.

We gotta be really careful. Any silly little burn on the tongue can hurt for days.

The crazy part is when I shop in a non- jewish dept. store with the radio on and I recognize a song or two that our heimishe singers took and applied yiddish words to it…

I’m so disgusted when they turn radio songs into jewish songs.

Yes working. I heard that story. I also heard that this woman followed the guy and saw him walking into a restroom and emerging a few min later without his hat and beard. That confirmed her suspicions.

Terrible story. I can’t believe pple still learn their lesson after the japan story.

To accept a whole SUITCASE? In the AIRPORT?? It yells suspicious!!!

BEST IMA- wow!! Now THATS a real lesson in tefillah. It shows that tefillah never goes to waste but its up to hashem how to use them.

There’s that famous story of a godel that was very sick(does anyone remember his name? My mind is blank now).

The whole work was davening for his refuah but he passed away shortly thereafter.

Pple were questionning, but soon learned that a little boy WITH THAT GODELS EXACT NAME had a terrible car accident at that time but he recovered completely!!

Hashem takes our tefillos and uses them for whatever is best for us.

OOMIS- yes, I’ve don’t this segulah before all my babies and I hope it helps my labors.

Its simple enough so why not?

I like to go as soon as I step into my ninth so as not to miss my chance, because its always possible to go into labor little early.

If I’m not mistaken, I’ve heard that this segulah is written somewhere with a reliable source…(Please don’t ask where because I’ve got no clue).

JPhone- when I go to YW shortcut, at first glance it looks like only texts, but somewhere along the page there is one or two photo ads.

I did realize however that when I load the page for the CR, there are about 6 ads…that takes so long to load. Can we have only text on the BB?

EDITOR- are you talking about photo ads? Bec when I open any page on YN, I gotta wait for all ads to load and I see them full color on my page. Makes the loading veeeerrrry slow.(Loading images)

Oh was I supposed to get a YWN icon? I didn’t. I still go on through my browser.

I thought this new update will work quicker or something. It takes quite a while to open a page on the BB.

I was also hoping that the YWN BB version will skip all photos from advertisers si the page will load quicker, and so that the phone shouldn’t fill up with so much junk.

Most pple I know from brooklyn are VERY openminded including myself.

And I’m sure you can find enough out of towners that live in a box too.
