in reply to: Cr Politics….Why can't we all just have Ahavat Yisroel???? #1011541

    OURtorah:

That was my point, we don’t have to go say it’s your fault you never saw our side so since you are going along with ____ you must be horrible….

Sometimes other people say “you aren’t the right type of Jews and you are going to die/go to gehonim/Hahsem dosen’t love you….”

Who is to judge what is the right type of judiasm and what is not?

    Everyone for themselves!

So please don’t tell others what to be…

I don’t know, my friend mentioned to me her mother teaches trhere last week, so I said

    “Really, I know girls going”

She was confused as to why I didn’t know your names…

in reply to: Cr Politics….Why can't we all just have Ahavat Yisroel???? #1011531

I mean at least on the CR, can’t we just not bash other users and their types, or at the worst if you bash a certain “type” don’t bash someone because they happen to be in that “type” so they have to be as bad as the rest of that so called “type”

What did you think of my advice?

in reply to: Random thread: Rocky Zweig, Purim, and writing #1120148

But that’s a main problem, I have no idea when and how often I could get internet access….

in reply to: Random thread: Rocky Zweig, Purim, and writing #1120146

    They don’t want me ;(

It’s also a chabad thing, nothing against them, I have many friends that write for them but….my parents won’t let.

And yes, it is only online.

in reply to: Having fun with Telemarketers #1009546

Just say they have the wrong number.

    It’s that easy!

There are telemarketers that are humans, my father used to be one, and a good one at that.

in reply to: Random thread: Rocky Zweig, Purim, and writing #1120144

    Maybe…..I dunno if they’d let,

I was supposed to start writing under a pen name for a certain website for jewish frum girl teens but then my ipad broke….

aND HaShem just doesn’t want me to have alot of internet access, which is good but sometimes annoying….like in this case.

I don’t know if they would accept me by mail…and how would they reply to me?????

I hope I do…if you see anyone writing and they write it’s a pen name……now you know!!!!!

in reply to: growing for a guy #1009385

Didn’t you realize after that whole big thing with me and you and OURtorah and a few others they stopped letting in stuff like that….

It’s annoying, but it’s their decision and I also think we had gotten a little personal for the world wide web…..

I know mods, but if you are in middle of reading, let’s say that post, and I went a wrote a whole thing on how I can relate and it got too personal for you guys (I thank you for keeping me in check, I used to regret posting certain things) it takes one button to delete that paragraph and move on. no it doesn’t

In that case it was only a personal paragraph that was the problem and I understand you don’t have time when it’s something bigger and not just one part….

add got fixed, now you can comment!!!!!!

    Thanks awesome mods!!!!!

We are indeed awesome, but we don’t deal with the technical aspects of the website.

in reply to: growing for a guy #1009383

    Thank you mods!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

{keyboard is broken, I would do exclamation marks but I can’t….}Yes, but I can. You can copy and paste for next time.

    I really appreciate it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe you can keep that in mind that sometimes you just need to cut out a line or paragraph and everything is OK instead of making me retype everything excluding one line of paragraph….Sometimes we don’t have time. Editing is much more time consuming than approving or deleting. I would advise you to save all long posts on your computer.

I can see why you didn’t want that there….you guyz decided the CR wasn’t gonna become a DMC place…smart!!!!!

Thanks again!!!!! You are very welcome.

in reply to: Poll:how many people go back to see if their blog was posted #1008668

I check posts, I don;t post that often anyway anymore….

in the olden days I’d check the CR every 6 hours and write a little more…

    OURtorah:

She needs to find a mentor, a teacher, or someone.

Maybe sit down with her and ask her if she understands why she is getting frummmer and the reason behind every new thing she is taking on. Ask her if she understands why she is doing it, ex. If she stopped watching movies, does she know why you shouldn’t watch them? And why she stopped? And the source of the assur?

When she davens, does she feel anything????

Explain to her that you would like to help her, but since your only her age [I’m guessing, right?] you do understand what you are doing and everything, but have your own questions and aren’t to that level where you can help her with hers.

Explain to her that the best help you can give her is to tell her to find a mentor or teacher and give her ideas on how to find one…..[ex. offer her to go to her favorite teacher from high school or sem or however old you people are]

Though tell her [this is only if you can do it] that you can help by being there for her, listening to her vent, and telling what you know.

Now if this girl cannot have a mentor for some reason or another. Than if you have the time and energy, maybe you could learn a little how to help her from your own mentor. Ask her how to mentor someone if she is unable to go to someone else.

Or you can offer your friend, at the worst possible case that any questions and doubts, you can ask someone in your name and tell her the answers

    Good luck

in reply to: To girls that are being tested with rejection from seminary or school #1005209

    Exactly!

When I heard I was moving to Israel it hurt, it hurt so much.

But without that hurt I would be a completely different person!!!! HaShem is pushing you to the path Y-O-U need, not your cousin/friend/sister/ needs, what YOU NEED!!!!!!

    Best tip in the W-O-R-L-D:

Don’t daven to get in to a certain seminary/high school. I KNOW it is SOOOOO tempting to. BUT, who knows best?

    HASHEM, RIGHT?

At some point I just started davening like this:

“Hashem, I REALLLY WANT __________ B-U-T, if not getting that is what’s best for me, or to make the future me I need something else, that is what I truly want. So please, give me what I need, you know what’s best, not me”

I know it’s hard…but you will realize davening like that feels so good, and afterwords alot of times you can see what HaShem chose was best!!!!!

    *SMILE CUZ HASHEM LOVES YOU*

in reply to: Where is Everybody?!? #1027561

This is a story about four people: Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.

There was an important job to be done and Everybody was asked to do it.

Everybody was sure Somebody would do it.

Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.

Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody’s job.

Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody

    wouldn’t do it.

It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when actually Nobody asked Anybody.

In the end they threw everybody in jail because everybody was asked to do it…

If you really need him, visiting hours end in 5 minutes…

in reply to: What exactly is the point? #1017105

What do you mean? Perhaps she is embarrassed to asked married people she knows, or is trying to get an array of different answers seeing as we are all very different here.

I think people’s emotional needs need to be met to serve HaShem, but in some cases that is not possible and one must turn to HaShem for his/her needs for help.

This is a very deep answer and I suggest you ask a teacher in your school.

How are you fairing? I didn’t hear about your kabbala…..HaShem must be so proud of you!!!!!

Ive also been growing so much! Right it’s fun to grow? Baruch Hahsem I found a few friends like me who don’t discuss clothes and makeup, but discuss how we can grow, and when are we failing, and our teyvos…..it’s so amazing!!!!!!

    Keep it up TAOM!!!!!!!

in reply to: for those going crazy… #1006381

    Help her!!!!!!!!!!

    Are you in her grade?????????

Than you can help!! Even if you aren’t everybody needs someone sometimes…..even me

Iv’e been there, and I have tonz of things to write, but I have limited time.

    So:

    1. She should join a group in her class, an after school activity not related to school, invite, give her self confidence and tell her to go up to people and show them all she has to offer. If they still snub her, I wouldn’t want to be those girls friends anyway…Good Luck!!!!

If she doesn’t want to see you since she’s embarrassed, write her a note, make sure no one else sees it. Give her chizuk in the note and write down your phone number if she ever wants to call.

    Notes usually work,

and Writersoul: Those bubbly girls you mentioned in YOUR post, I’m one of them, and trust me. I do it because Ive been there and now I have my few close friends, but I see others do not, and personally I want more friends. Those “bubbly” girls that say hi, might be breaking inside and THEY could be looking for another friend.

    DON’T JUDGE!!!!

I see other bubbly girls who don’t say hi, those are the ones who really don’t care.

When I say hi, I’m trying to cheer up myself also and gain a friend, I don’t think she is the nebach at all. I understand them…

You should smile to everyone! Like me, even if I really hate the queen of the class, I will smile and say good morning in a bubbly way and sound interested in her life like I do with anyone else (even though we both know we both hate each other)

TAOM, Nice seeing you, new subtitle I see.

Chizuk? That’s pretty cute, sounds like your doing ok by your subtitle…I wish I was here often enough to follow threads and give chizuk too….

About sanity, what if your whole life you’ve been told by adults you aren’t sane??????

That’s my point, like the OP….

Suddenly the second book talked about the black powder, in the prologue it seemed like it was mentioned in the first book, but I can’t remember…..
