    Sure.

I do not think a married woman should be less careful about her interactions with a man than a single woman should.

I actually think clothing is one of the best things to classify people by, since it is totally the person’s choice, and people associate with groups through clothing.

You just need to be careful that it is actually something that is only associated with that group.

Especially if there are other classifications readily available.

Maybe think about that, and that will help.

The gemorah that I learn goes by majority not by who is greater as you suggested before.

The majority of rabbis are reform and conservative.

This question was asked to an amora, if I recall. (That we should follow rov of the world who does not keep the torah.)

    Anyone remember the answer offhand?

    Oh. My bad.

Mods: Please correct my post to say “the gedolim of the past 48 years”.

Every Jewish child knows that you are supposed to follow the gedolim.

    As a broad generalization- yes.

However, there are much better ways to know much more.

For example, what yeshiva he is in.

And within yeshivos, the shirt often makes little difference.

(of course, if he’s wearing colored in Lakewood…)

Actually, people who are ambidexterous have only the motor skills that we all have in our weaker hand.

They just don’t have a strong right or left hand.

That is why they usually have awful handwriting, and are uncoordinated. We could also learn to write badly with our weak hand, but there is no reason to.

    I’m convinced now.

After I got married I figured it may be OK…(not sure why, but thats usually how things work right?)

I know of nothing which is more muttar after you are married.

Except things which have a direct relation, like the heter of ???? ????, which is only possible if you are married.

I think approving the eruv de-legitimizes a rav, and I would not rely on him for anything.

(And if you name names, I’ll keep on de-legitimizing, so don’t try me.)

And I don’t know if it is muttar to be mazik to prevent chillul shabbos, but if it is, I would personally vandalize it. (And I wouldn’t even spray paint pictures. Hey, do you think it’s the same people?)

I was at a speech yesterday, and the speaker mentioned that when he was in law school, he took a Tax course, and never went to class or read the statute, but he got an A on the exam.

So maybe just try that and see how it works out.

I’m still waiting for the name of the rav who approved of this action either before or after.

Rabbi Menachem Friedman. He is the Rav of the Aguda of E. 23rd.

You can call him and ask him, his number is in the phonebook.

I think you are pulling our legs.

I can pull up my profile, and even edit, but it only lets me edit my email address and password.

Now, we know the mods can change how you appear, since they changed bpt, and also the fake popa that I made when I was blocked in december.

But regular members can’t do that. Where is the option?

You must have a mod co-operating with you.

There are plenty of Rabbonim who allow it so there is no clear answer.

I don’t think we can say there is no clear answer.

The ones who assur it are far greater than the ones who allow it. Nobody should use it. Even if their personal rav allows it, they should be machmir like Rav Moshe, since he was so much greater, and felt so strongly.
