Dunno about Kibud Av Ve’em but Bein Odom Lechaveroy is to invite me!!!
noitallmrParticipantHi everyone…;););)
noitallmrParticipantWow bemused you literally took the words outa my mouth…Well done
noitallmrParticipantJothar- agreed! But on the other hand they would have never become the bigggest and most widely known without them…and I’m sure they asked Gedolim before making such a big decision as sending miracle stories round the world…but otherwise I agree.
Joseph- My pleasure- just doing my job! And it’s not really a welcome back, just I felt I had to say something!!!
noitallmrParticipantUnlike many people here, I actually know quite a bit what goes on at Kupat Hair. Kupat Hair is a huge organization which is run by Gedolim- yes it’s run by Gedolim. Whenever they have a question or a Sha’ale about literally anything, the Gedolim decide what to do and their word is law. For a family to be registered under Kupat Hair, K”H first send round someone to see the status of their house and freezer etc who goes back and reports.
And you should all know- a real Oni is someone who does not have money to buy food…that is the definition of Oni Midoraysda- not someone who can’t afford a Lexus, not someone who can’t afford a cruise or even who have trouble paying school fees who might be defined as poor but the real Ani’im can’t buy food. Every penny you give to Kupat Hair goes to a real Oni which unfortunately are plenty in Eretz Yisrael (mainly Bnei Barak).
Yes I agree that their brochures are a bit overdoing it with all their miraculous tales and you seem to be forgetting that it’s G-D making miracles and Yeshuos and not Kupat Hair, but the fact remains that they are the biggest most reliable Tzeddokah organization in Israel and all Gedolim DO recommend it.
I hope this puts people back into their previous frame of mind before they read some of the comments people wrote- I don’t know how they could take the Achrayas (responsibility) that Ani’im in E”Y might be getting less because their disgusting comments made someone look lightly at K”H.
Sorry for the strong words people, but be careful before you hit the send post button…A Bissel Achrayus!!!
noitallmrParticipantHi all, I haven’t been around for some time and this is the first thread I clicked on because it simply caught my eye and wow- it feels like I haven’t even left!!!
Right here are my 2 cents (is that how you say it in your country????!!!!) on the matter-
People, this really happened and although it sounds like a joke- it’s definitely got truth to it. Yes I agree many designer brands DO make their products better quality than others but to spend another $60 for a tie or shirt or tee-shirt which hardly differs from quality??? This is a status symbol…it’s like proudly wearing a huge board round your neck- I’ve got money! Don’t get me wrong, I honestly don’t mind people doing that but that’s what it is and it’s definitely not a classic Jewish middah.
Yes I do have some designer clothes myself but mainly if I find that it’s on special offer because as I said some times they are better quality and to spend only $10 more is ok, that’s not called throwing money in the garbage- but to spend major money for something which is hardly superior- is a shod of yiddisher gelt (waste of Jewish money)!!!
But otherwise, it’s great to be back!
noitallmrParticipantThere are definitely sources but even without its well known that music penetrates deep into the soul and non jewish music has the hashbois of a goy which is penetrating into your neshomah- enough?
noitallmrParticipantThen I decided to answer to my wife…
noitallmrParticipantDoes anyone know the lyrics to The King Of Tonys by Destiny…
When I sit back inside the “hay”?

noitallmrParticipantGezuntheit- only if you make it!
noitallmrParticipantNo Joesph we call it Gmail. but if you email to [email protected] it’s like emailing to [email protected]…
noitallmrParticipantWow ursketching that couldn’t be too easy, but every MIL is different- there are many many MIL’s that have the same view as yours and look at their daughters and daughter in laws very differently I think mostly because they were extremely close to their sons and they feel the DIL grabbed him away but I’m sure there are loads of reasons….
But you should just know that there many many thousands in your boat! And I’m totally maskim that it’s hard in your case to call her Mom.
BTW now that you’ve made the leap- keep posting!!!
noitallmrParticipantmepal- it’s very possible they do it just never entered my mind that people are so crazy. I can’t say I never speak whilst driving but to text??? The first and most basic rule of driving is- KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE ROAD! But if there’s a lot of it happening why ban calling before texting?
noitallmrParticipantyoungbutnotstupid- basically Bein Kach was a CD that is up to date and more belonging to this day and age as oppose to Yankel which has a very old-fashioned taste to it.
mepal- It’s certainly fresh but it’s definitely not new!!! (Unless your a dinosaur)
noitallmrParticipantYeah mepal I know- 😉 and wow it took you a long time to realise what a nice guy I was!!!
noitallmrParticipantJudging by the look of things- nearly everyone here is on Gmail inc myself. What was everyone on beforehand?
Me? I was on Yahoo…and I DON’T miss it!
noitallmrParticipantHa Mepal- thought someone would write that- not really but seeing I’m the only Englishman and I have my own websites for deals- I decided to make this thread specially for the broader community- you American people!!! Yup I know my kindness is never-ending!!!
But why should you have to throw your bucks away any more than our pounds???
noitallmrParticipantSorry about my ignorance- but how can you text whilst driving, I mean practically how is it possible?
noitallmrParticipantThis is a really wide question- really depends on what mil you have…
noitallmrParticipantGut Voch- so you should buy one of those mini heaters for your office…they work wonders (my wife has to use one!!!)
noitallmrParticipantThanx Mepal and you!
To everyone- Have a wonderful uplifting Shabbos…
noitallmrParticipantWow 26 do you not get cross eyed reading so fast?
noitallmrParticipantSorry mepal but I beat you to that joke!!!
http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/coffeeroom/topic/computer-heat#post-92365
noitallmrParticipantHa Ha Jax- that post should also be in the Remember thread!!! Seriously though you can claim an eight digit compensation from E.M.S for that one!!!
noitallmrParticipantYeah Jax- I think Shwekey must have been lurking here and seen Areivims username and thought hey I like the name Areivim, why not make a cd titled Areivim…Must have been something like that no?
noitallmrParticipantI can only try: because its nice and stylish and really user-friendly and reliable (not a lot of crashing etc). Just outa curiosity what area in computers ARE you very knowledgeable on?
noitallmrParticipant“-letters on the English U.K. keyboard are different, causing qwerty to be qwertz! “
Sorry mate but down here its also qwerty, the rest of Europe is qwertz though!
Is “bloody” not a word in American then Jax???
Joseph- heehee nice one, make these spurts of good humour happen more often!!!
noitallmrParticipantOh- we also have transformers here! Those were fun to play with…(I hope I sound like I don’t play with them these days too….)
noitallmrParticipantHa Ha- forgot about that Ireland thingy! Pity when I found out it was all a hoax otherwise would’ve come to visit you Jax!!!
noitallmrParticipantI remember Mariner posting really long winded posts every time something to do with tech cropped up….
noitallmrParticipantmepal- yeah mepal, the glare is killing me!!! (Uh in every sense…)
noitallmrParticipantWow people- what’s with all the poetry tonight???
noitallmrParticipantHey nurse- quick question: do you have one of those little clocks sewed onto you or is that extinct?
noitallmrParticipantJothar: how do you see “action man” in Gmail Prime? (Sorry just guessing that was your favourite too!!!)
noitallmrParticipantICOT thanx for info I think ill wait for that one…
noitallmrParticipantAre there any netbooks out there running on Android?
noitallmrParticipantWhy would someone want this phone over the Blackberry Bold (which I have and am delighted with)?
noitallmrParticipantyossi z.: I’ve got my countdown running…
noitallmrParticipantShikur: can you play when you are your username?
noitallmrParticipantHmmmmmmm…interesting CD. Definitely wouldn’t say it’s his best I personally think Yedid is his best but there are some lovely songs on it.
What I find very disappointing is that there is no low harmony on Vehi Sheomda, did that bother anyone else?
noitallmrParticipantyossi z.- did you also just pass some sort of test like the nurse?
August 25, 2009 2:05 pm at 2:05 pm in reply to: Altering Photos in Photoshop for Fundraising Purposes – Okay? #655079noitallmrParticipantmonolithic – wow, do you work for Artscroll? 😉
And no they don’t send the dress code to the parents rather before enlisting into a Yeshiva you should have done a lot of painstaking research to find out that that is the best place for you/ your son to shteig and will therefore know exactly if it’s the norm there to come in with a coloured shirt.
And obviously even a white shirted yeshiva is not gonna kick out any blue shirts, come on, rather a blue shirt will feel uncomfortable (hopefully) surrounded by white shirted yeshivish looking guys…I can’t see a blue shirt wanting to come to a white shirted yeshiva anyways…
noitallmrParticipantI use a laptop on my lap very often- comes in handy in the Winter…
noitallmrParticipantPhyllis- which is why the search button was invented. Gmail is def the best and I use search the whole time.
August 24, 2009 2:06 pm at 2:06 pm in reply to: Altering Photos in Photoshop for Fundraising Purposes – Okay? #655054noitallmrParticipantMidwest2- sorry mate but you’ve missed the boat. Because TODAY there is a dress code in Yeshiva, someone who strays from that dress code if he is in THAT Yeshiva is making a statement- I’m not like you guys. In the olden days there was no dress code yet so it’s perfectly fine to dress how you wanted but if the Klal is going one way and you want to stick out, that is wrong. Again I’m talking about the black and white Yeshivas of today…
noitallmrParticipant“-noitall & his come backs!”
THAT is a memory still in the making!!!
August 24, 2009 1:59 pm at 1:59 pm in reply to: Altering Photos in Photoshop for Fundraising Purposes – Okay? #655052noitallmrParticipanttzippi- correct. Joseph did not mean that one who doesn’t have this “uniform” is not fit to study or learn C”V rather it is accepted in most Yeshivos to have a dress code and Bochrim are definitely in Hashem’s Army…
Regarding the whole issue I think anything that strays from the truth is Ossur and everything which doesn’t is Mutar- foolproof!!! If the Yeshiva DOES have some blue-shirted Bochrim and they want to delete him because they feel people will give less to that kind of Mosod then it is definitely wrong to take him it because it is straying from the truth.
noitallmrParticipantHi all- just to show that I’m still on the planet!!! Off to bed now- ‘nite
noitallmrParticipantHave a wonderful Shabbos everyone…was real fun the last few days long may it continue! Good Chodesh and I hope you all have a meaningful Elul…
