April 21, 2015 7:44 pm at 7:44 pm in reply to: People Who Live in Glass Houses Should not Throw Stones #1098524☕️coffee addictParticipantthats right but someone might hit it with their car and it would ricochet and hit the house
☕️coffee addictParticipantoot,
kosher world if it really does
☕️coffee addictParticipanti just overheard from someone in the grocery store talking to someone else, that someone had a dream that r wosner came and told him moshiach is coming soon
April 21, 2015 5:37 pm at 5:37 pm in reply to: People Who Live in Glass Houses Should not Throw Stones #1098522☕️coffee addictParticipantrebyidd,

April 21, 2015 1:13 pm at 1:13 pm in reply to: People Who Live in Glass Houses Should not Throw Stones #1098520☕️coffee addictParticipantwhat about people that live in brick houses?
☕️coffee addictParticipantgreat subtitle
☕️coffee addictParticipantwow,

☕️coffee addictParticipantwhat? started 36 minutes ago by profound101
yet pba is the first poster
(im assumming no one is allowed to see it however the thread is still there)
also im surprised at mod100, i thought pbas identity was known to the mods
April 17, 2015 9:58 pm at 9:58 pm in reply to: Iran Nuke Chief: 6,000 Centrifuges Are Now Enriching Uranium #1072730☕️coffee addictParticipantubiquitin,

April 15, 2015 12:54 am at 12:54 am in reply to: Iran Nuke Chief: 6,000 Centrifuges Are Now Enriching Uranium #1072728☕️coffee addictParticipantwow, 6 years ago we were still talking about the same thing
☕️coffee addictParticipantwhy is he taking it off (in regards to tzitzis) is it because he doesnt like to be associated yiddishkeit? then yes it is
conversely,
why is someone not doing the aveirah, is it because he won over his yetzer hara? then yyes it is a mitzvah
☕️coffee addictParticipantwhat about raboisai or oilam (spinoff of chevra)
April 14, 2015 2:48 am at 2:48 am in reply to: Parking Tickets- Innocent Until Proven Guilty? #1073007☕️coffee addictParticipantvery interesting
whats the difference between stopping and standing
nyc.gov says by no standing “When standing is prohibited by signs or rules, no person shall stop a vehicle, attended or unattended, except temporarily for the purpose of and while actually engaged in expeditiously receiving or discharging passengers.”
my understanding of the difference (i could be wrong) is standing is putting the car in park, whereas stopping is just pressing the brake, and the way the cop can tell is if your brake lights are on or not
April 13, 2015 10:08 pm at 10:08 pm in reply to: Parking Tickets- Innocent Until Proven Guilty? #1073005☕️coffee addictParticipantChalk it up to the cost of owning a car.
i actually say “chalk it up to living in new york”
☕️coffee addictParticipantzdad,
i think youre supposed to dip it in the charoses and shake it off not eat along with it
☕️coffee addictParticipantyekke,
sorry i didn’t read your post
☕️coffee addictParticipantbut you have to realize what might a rasha be doing at your seder
no one is saying you shouldn’t love him however you have to show your other children that his mehalach isnt correct, and probably the reason he’s there at all is to sway the other children towards his views
☕️coffee addictParticipantits interesting to note when the torah mentions the rasha it says a lashon of “yo’mroo” saying whereas by the tam it says “yishalcha” askd, in essence the rasha doesnt have a question hes making a statement
☕️coffee addictParticipanti saw a pshat, that it doesnt say beat him up rather “blunt his teeeth” take out the bite of his criticism annd tell him if he was there he wouldnt be redeemed but now that we have torah he could do teshuva (or something like that)
☕️coffee addictParticipanti remember a ywn news article with r chaim kanievsky after obama won the election
http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/news/general/25554/maran-rav-kanievsky-on-the-election-of-obama.html
☕️coffee addictParticipantrebyidd,
the moral of the story is obvious
you cant escape fate
☕️coffee addictParticipantah rebyidd,
however if he was on that bus he wouldve been taken to the hospital where they would have found a tumor in his chest which ruptured and caused a heart attack
☕️coffee addictParticipantyou asked for
If there is one justification that stands up to scrutiny I’d like to hear it
and i gave you one justifiable reason, granted it works youre way also
☕️coffee addictParticipantAnd of course it’s 1/4/2014. There is absolutely no sense whatsoever in the American insistence on placing the month before the day. If there is one justification that stands up to scrutiny I’d like to hear it. I mean, for years I thought there had been a terrorist attack on the 9th of November
this coming from someone that drives on the wrong side of the road
the logic is that its april 1st so therefore 4/1 makes sense
☕️coffee addictParticipantthis shouuldn’t be done as an april fools joke
☕️coffee addictParticipantmashgiachs 😉
☕️coffee addictParticipantyybc, did u read the ny times about it?
March 30, 2015 9:28 pm at 9:28 pm in reply to: Randomex's junk thread thread (Ride the troller coaster!) #1220217☕️coffee addictParticipantis this some sort of clothing (thread thread)?
March 30, 2015 8:31 pm at 8:31 pm in reply to: Your post must be at least this short to ride… #1067371☕️coffee addictParticipantok
☕️coffee addictParticipantBefore Obama’s first election, someone I know, who is one of the Torah Code researchers told me that they ran McCain and Obama’s names, when McCain was up in the polls.
McCain was up in the polls?
☕️coffee addictParticipantsam2,
i hear your reasoning but how do you know this?
☕️coffee addictParticipantcoz,
whats the problem?
☕️coffee addictParticipantthats like saying no statement at all (not just questions) is heretical it just shows his belief or no action is bad it s just indicative of himself
☕️coffee addictParticipant1. how do you know
2. so what about a rasha (one of the 4 sons) he was asking a question, however in the question he takes himself out of the klal and he is a kafar b’ikur
☕️coffee addictParticipantSam2
The Even-Keeled and Erudite Shmuely Wollenberger from Las Vegas
“It’s never heresy to ask a question.”
what about the mishnah in chagiga “anyone that is “mistakeil” (not sure how to transalate it, always thought is was saying asks) in 4 things shouldn’t have come into this world, whats above the world, what’s below the world, what was before the world, and what’s after the world.
☕️coffee addictParticipantcoz,
i didnt complain about punctuation lg did
i complained about people complaining about punctuation
☕️coffee addictParticipantcoz,
was what intentional?
☕️coffee addictParticipantPlease repost, but this time with proper punctuation.
what is this with you girls and proper puctuation
☕️coffee addictParticipantwell i think i’m normal and logically in order for the statement to be true the inverse has to also be true and the inverse is “everyone else (not me) is crazy (not normal)”
dont ask questions just agree
☕️coffee addictParticipantadditionally if following news doesnt strengthen your emunah in HKBH i dont know what short of mussar would
☕️coffee addictParticipantLG,
lev sarim U’malachim b’yad Hashem
and i dont view politics change as reason for this. we’ve had democrats and republicans alike know what evil is and faced it (more with republicans though)
yserbius,
fyi i follow the news on foxnews, wcbs, cnn take your pick
secondly, which news source isn’t biased pray tell
☕️coffee addictParticipantwhatever, inverse converse
there is a difference because he can’t be faulted for being fat if its hereditary and starving him won’t solve the problem
additionally fat people can die from starvation too, chain smokers wont die if they don’t have a cigarette
☕️coffee addictParticipantthere are numerous reasons why an ani can be overweight (was rich or well off and became poor) or a genetic mutation so it wouldnt help
secondly,
isnt it wonderful that we all have a rav to answer such questions for us?
that also works in the converse
☕️coffee addictParticipantThat is not true. There is no halacha saying you have to do a background check when some ani asks you for a couple bucks on the street.
but if the “ani” comes with a sob story and one time changes his story it calls the “ani” into question and possibly could not be tzedakah at all (see previous post)
☕️coffee addictParticipantDont worry if he smokes, you worry about being mikayem the mitzvah of tzedaka. Hashem will work out the rest. Of course if you have a question whether it is tzedaka altogether, that is why you have a Rav.
misplaced rachmanus is achzarius
☕️coffee addictParticipantit seems like lf/zk’s style
☕️coffee addictParticipantim suprised you havent figured out who it is
☕️coffee addictParticipantooooh ME!
