(Videos & Photos below) As snow continues to fall in Lakewood, children are enjoying a day off from school as the city remains in a state of emergency. However, neither the cold or the snow is stopping people from making their way to shul or to learn at BMG. There is currently approximately 2 feet of snow on the ground, and the some areas are seeing 3-4 feet due to the winds.

This storm just shows you how little the meteorologists really know and that Hashem is the One And ONLY meteorologist! I live in Maryland and I heard the forcast on Friday that they didn’t even know if snow was coming at all. Then I turned on the radio Motzay Shobbos and they had a Winter Storm Warning and we were going to get 3-6 inches of snow. Then on Sunday they downgraded it to an advisory for most of the Maryland Virgina D.C. area and we ended up seeing barely an inch!
What a Kiddush Hashem!! They’re mamaish learning – shteigin – like it wasn’t snowing outside. Kol Hakavod to our yeshiva bochurim in Lakewood.
hey lakewood folks, can you please plow/salt the street that runs into toras aaron so people who had to leave their vehicles there the other night can get out of town????
