With five weeks to go until Primary Day, Republican US Senate candidate Joe DioGuardi, who is seeking to unseat Senator Christian Gillibrand (D) – released an advertised message to the NY Jewish Community.

In his message, Mr. DioGuardi makes it clear that as far he is concerned the era of Democrats taking the Jewish Vote for granted, is over. And “the era of the Republican Establishment not asking for your support is also over,” Mr. DioGuardi says to the Jewish Community.

The Senate hopeful, who has secured the NY Conservative Part line for November, addresses issues that are of concern to the Jewish Community, including the fact that people lose too much Government Assistance once they earn one extra dollar, thus making it impossible to “climb the economic ladder of success.”

Mr. DioGuardi also speaks of Obama’s policies towards Israel that “are emboldened by the large majorities that the Democrats have in the US Senate and US House.” The candidate rips politicians who seek the Jewish Vote based on one issue, yet vote against the virtues and values that are sacred in the Jewish Community.

This online message appears to be one of the first and early paid political ads by a NY State-wide candidate seeking directly the support of the NY Jewish Community in this hotly contested election cycle.
