If Obama did it, it would cripple the Democrats in the next election.
2. If Hillary accepted it, it would be an admission of guilt.
3. Trump might do so since prosecuting Hillary would be a major distraction. Most of the country wishes she and Bill will go into retirement, and stay there.
Why does anyone now care about what happens to Hillary? I think the bigger issue is whether Obama pardons Trump. It would be quite crazy if Trump ends up being prosecuted for shady stuff he’s done over the last several decades (assault, fraud, etc), and pardoning him now would help make sure that things stay calm. If he can, I think it help Trump’s presidency to be pardoned at this point.
Why should Obama pardon the Devil if – as he and she claim – she did not commit any crime?
On a serious note: There is an ongoing IRS audit of some Trump tax returns (remember, that’s why he “could not” release them); there is a pending class action (I think in a Califormia district court) regarding Trump University, and a New York State Attorney General’s investigation of Trump University. What happens to these actions after DT is sworn in as president?
Oh, yes, regarding Hillary: I hope she is not pardoned. And I voted for her.

You can’t compare Trumps crimes to the one who stole from half the world and bribes everyone to get her way. Just saying
