When the accused politician was a Republican, being protected by Republican party-hacks in the Justice Department, the FBI (the #2 person, being the senior civil servant since the #1 was a party loyalist)didn’t have the nerve to directly tell the Congress about the crooked politicians, so he leaked it to the Washington Post (this refers to the famous “Deep Throat”).
However’s its the Democrats fault that the current FBI director is telling the Congress. The Democrats now control the media, and would surpress any “leaks” critical of their candidate.
