Actually, the yidden in Meah Shearim DO dress with a flair but more like the 18th century….if you were on a movie set and called central casting and wardrobe departments and asked for a bunch of lower level Polish nobility from the mid-1800s, you would probably not be able to distinguish them much from what you would see today in the Geula and MS neighborhoods
