  1. Stupid law the old way was better block of the street physically not rely on people breaking the law that happens a billion times a day . The driver of the car should be punished

  2. It was only the last vehicle that drove past while it was flashing red and the stop sign came out. The first few passed while it was only flashing yellow.

  3. This is taka terrible and shouldn’t happen anywhere, but watch now all the self hating Jews crawl out of their holes and scream about “all those hassidim” or “these things only happen in Wiliamsburg” etc…. ad nauseum.

  4. An Israeli company has a simple and low cost motion activated camera that installs on either/both sides of the bus and can record the license plate in the same way as a red-light camera. A few automatic $500 fines might get the attention of the ehrliche yidden from Willy (with all respect to No 4’s admonition) who are late for minyan or in a rush to mikvah or whatever. It also might behoove the bus driver to wait a few seconds after turning on his flashing lights before opening the door and releasing his passengers.

  5. Especially in Elul, we should all be dan l’kav zechus. I am sure the drivers who passed the bus when the goyim say it is illegal were deeply engrossed in a difficult sugya they were intently listening to or were late for mincha and it was just a few minutes before the shkiya. Why just assume they don’t care about the safety of heilige neshomas? I try not to waste my time often listening to a complex sugya whilst driving. Of course I can easily concentrate on two things at once, I can even do three things, talking on my kosher lemehadrin phone to my Eishes Chayil at the same time. Or I may be rushing to catch mincha although I must admit that sometimes there is no parking so I have to stop in a bit of a dangerous place double parked on the corner of the street. Lucky there is no hakpoda not to park on a street corner like we don’t eat sitting across the corner of a table! All this shows what a modest heliege neshoma I have and how it needs to be cared about, nurtured and appreciated. What is more important – hearkening to the laws of the goyim or hearkening to the Kol HaTorah? Common guys, there really is no choice, at least not in Willy …………

  6. This is a problem in boro park and Flatbush as well
    We are above the law
Actually the bus driver though is wrong you don’t discharge students on wrong side of street MBR is supposed to block the street
