There are two reasonable interpretations of Trump’s “Second Amendment poeple” comment: (i) that he is a poor speaker, speaks impulsively and does not realize the implications of what he is saying; or (ii) that he intended to give the impression that he wanted someone to shoot at Mrs. Clinton. Neither interpretation shows that he is fit to be president.
Karl Rove ought to explain why he is “sure” that Trump did not intend to invite some gun crazies to shoot at his Democratic opponent.
