WATCH: Chareidi Man Goes To Work In Israel… And Becomes Heavy Crane Operator

  1. Nice video, it’s put out by a government agency trying to recruit charadim into the work force. The fellow says he gets much satisfaction from his work and enjoys the great responsibility. Sad thing is that this appears to be the exception to the charedi of working age instead of the rule. I’ll bet by he feels more satisfied at the end of the day than his unemployed cohort, sleeps better at night and can afford to take his children out for ice cream without revamping the family budget

  2. The Gemora says it is better to flay a carcass in the shuk than to beg for alms. This man is exactly what the Gemora wanted! A man who works honestly to support his family and yet does not reduce his observance standards.

  3. the only reason this is news is that the construction boss actually gave a charedi worker “a chance” even though he had a course qualifying him for the work. Most employers are too prejudiced to hire a charedi.
