Clearly you were not at the celebration yesterday. Well I was and I can tell you that the main focus of the entire chag is giving thanks to hashem for giving us back the holiest city in the world. It was not just a “parade”. It was an outpouring of ahavat hashem and hodaah for all of the nissim geluim which He performed for us during the six day war. It’s not only a zionistic holiday, it’s a Jewish yom tov. Just because the chareidi community decides not to partake does not mean it’s not for them too.
