  1. This is the reason for the custom of eating borscht on Pesach because it tastes sour. This minhag goes back hundreds of years.

  3. There are many other interesting and unknown Pesach minhagim from The Chofetz Chaim in the Hagadah of Rav Gershon Zaks zt”l grandson of the Chofetz Chaim called הגדת הגרשוני!

  4. Respond to #1: It is indeed brought done in the Belzer Haggdah from one of the early Belzer Rebbas that they had a minhag to eat borscht for this very reason.
