While i commend and applaud what the security guard did, I don’t think posting a video like this one does any good. In fact it probably does the opposite.
Second prize is 2 parties.
I’ll take the bait.
“I don’t think posting a video like this one does any good.”
Why?
“In fact it probably does the opposite.”
How?
The title of the video on YouTube is incendiary and false. The Yeshiva has a rosh chodesh party and the guard attended. They did not “throw a party for the security guard”. Which mushchas does your headlines?
Moderators Response: Eli Willner does them.
Having said that… I think the response of the principal to the general news was brilliant and a big kiddush hashem too.
“celebrating” someone else’s suffering is not our way. What the guard did was an appropriate response to a threat within the Yeshiva. He should be applauded for that.
Admittedly the headline for the video and the video itself can be misleading. But i am wondering if last rosh chodesh did anyone dance with the guard.
