  1. In America to keep your eyes from seeing inappropriate things you have to sit in the closet and even there I don’t know. Here in E’Y people try. That is not to say that there are no problems, but in Meah Sharim people want the highest standards. Can you blame a yid to want to block this prutza out? We are Am Kodosh lo? Have you forgotten? Does it press your political correctness buttons? Oy, what a sad world we live in. Don’t bother attacking me or what I am saying. I don’t care.

  2. These photos make you wonder if the Taliban system of cutting off the hands of thieves and vandals might be appropriate public policy in EY. If these Chareidim don’t realize its mamash ganavah to damage public property than it means that they are not only ignorant with respect to secular law, they are equally ignorant with respect to basic halacha.

  3. Graffiti (not even obscene or threatening) is a harmless protest. In a world in which protestors routinely show their unhappiness by threatening bodily harm and real economic damage, and often carrying thorugh with their threats (e.g. the anti-police movement in the US, the Muslim protest in Paris that has claimed a dozen lives, Palestinians protesting Israeli occupation of their territory by murdering babies, etc.), the hareidim are a shining light of how to be non-violent protestors. Given that Israeli is unwilling to turn to genocide or concentration camps to get rid of protestors, they are likely to have good results (i.e. Israeli is not like mid-20th century German or Russia, but more like mid-20th century India or the US, where non-violent protests were successful).

  4. to # 2

this guy is stealing and is a mazik who will have to come back in a gilgul to pay this back
there is no no no excuse for this behavior
if you don’t like what you see then look the other way
touching someone elses property is assur
before you do chumras keep shulchan aruch

    sick !!!!!!!

  5. #2, funny you know if this guy would see you with your smartphone or computer he would no doubt break it because he had no regard for anyones property so stop defending these crazy extremist they are a bunch people that have nothing to do with ther life beside destroyING other people and their properties

  6. If someone starts giving out free treif food in Yerushalayim, not only are you allowed to throw that food to the ground and ruin it, it is an absolute mitzvah to do so.

    The same principle applies here.

  7. i challenge the driver of that truck to go into any muslim area in an arab country… not only will he have his truck destroyed he will most likely be killed. Meah Shearim and the people that live there do it for a reason, they want to protect themselves and their children from the influences of the outside world. when this driver drove in there, he was asking for trouble. he wanted to antagonize the locals, so the only person responsible for the damage is the driver himself. we want others to be sensitive to our feelings we must be sensitive to theirs… i await some racist replies to this comment…

  8. It’s not a chumra!!!!פורץ גדר!!!tell them to keep their disgusting אסור pictures out of a מחנה קדוש!!!the biggest galus is that klal yisroel became all liberal….what happened to loving hashem!?!?!if someone hurt ur kid u wouldn’t act nicely to him, he’s hurting hashem by bringing in such tumah!!!!

  9. Were the yidden who destroyed the Canaanite avoda zara chayav for hezik? “Lo Sasuru” is a lav and an abizraya of gilui arayos. It is a mitzva to destroy it, and to remove a michshol from the rabim. THIS IS NOT HEZIK. The “chilul Hashem” here in this scenario is the lav of “lo sasuru”. One is allowed to destroy it, and protect the Torah’s lav, even in front of chilonim and, unfortunately, the many well meaning frum Jews who believe that in today’s pluralistic society, anything that offends anyone constitutes a “chilul Hashem”. Chazal very clearly spell out what chillul Hashem is, i.e. one wearing shatnez in reshus harabim….
The “taynos”of “chilul Hashem” and/or “kavod habriyos” are extremely misused today. Never forget that first and foremost, Kavod Hashem means following His Torah, and not disobeying His commandments, including “Lo sasuru”, and that this is the ultimate kavod hahabriyos.

  10. You all are sitting here defending him not defending brining in your kids
did you ever ask yourself does my kid always see me on my phone on the coumpter?
Yes we check up yeshuvah world to check news and maybe leave comments on post but maybe we should start thinking about are kids before we judge other and jump on other you say he doing it to protect his kids wat about you what are you doing to protect your kids did it ever occur to youaybe the driver has a wife and kid to support stop bashing him he didnt ask for trouble his boss told him to do it so he did we have to stop critzicing on post lets start a thing everytime before we post something lets think if that was me what would i do and you will see smart awnswer and no more jumping down each other back

  11. I need not ask myself whether I should commit justified acts of vandalism because I’ve got my nose to the grindstone and I’m trying to earn a living. At the very moment this video was shot there was some old person in a hospital unable to feed himself and the tray was just taken away. I recommend getting busy and being too busy to even notice the trucks.

  12. It’s amazing to hear all the comments against this guy while they use Torah to assume their tight. Your just as ignorant as he is. It’s so obvious to see your hateful words are more aimed because of the clothing that he wears than your actual opinions….I dare you to take your rant into any shvartza neighbor aND say that to some of them…..please video it
