ESPN anchor Max Kellerman used a Yiddish expression on TV on Wednesday.
Kellerman and his fellow ‘First Take’ panelists were discussing the New York Giants trading their defensive tackle, Damon “Snacks” Harrison, to the Detroit Lions, receiving a fifth-round draft pick in return.
״א מענטש טראכט און גאט לאכט״, Kellerman said. “Man makes plans, and G-d laughs”, he explained.
