Rabbi Wilhelm with all due respect look around the world at what is going on to our kids, adults in our communities, people are leaving, some leaving the fold going off the derech at astronomic levels, numbers we never thought possible some are leaving via suicide they can not take being frum and the only other choice is being ostracized, and you are discussing whether we can put a lid on a garbage can on Shabbos?? Give me a break! get with the program.
how come our kids go off the derech when you talk about halacha or frumkeit?
have you ever seen a reform or conservative jew become frum with payes and shmono begudim because he went off his derech? why is it alwyas blamed because religion is too much on them?
Seriously??? I can’t believe this question is even being brought up. In the country it’s mandatory to cover garbage cans or the animals get to it. If you leave it in the house in the heat, it smells and is unhealthy. So, with all other important halachos we need to know, why are we wasting time on this. Rebyossel is right–with so many young people going off the derech because we are ramming Yiddishkeit down their throats–and this is one of them. Pick a more important topic, Rabbi Wilhem,. And I am saying this with all due respect.
