Thousands of people gathered in the streets of Yerushalayim for the levayah of HaRav Yaakov Yeshaya Blau ZT”L, a senior member of the Eidah HaCharedis. The levayah started from the Pagi neighborhood in Yerushalayim of which he was the Rav, and made its way to Zupnick Square in Meah Shearim, where hespedim were given by the Eidah HaCharedis, lead by the Gaavad, HaRav Tuvia Weiss.

BDH. He was perhaps the most distinguished member of the Eidah Hachareidis. His noted works “Pituchei Choshen” and “Chovas Hador” are popular among Talmudei Chachamim of all sorts and sects. Despite his humility, he will truly be missed.
