WATCH: Comey Explains to Sen. Al Franken Why Russia/Putin Favored Trump in 2016 Election

  1. Since when is the director of the FBI a political consultant that he’s asked all those off topic questions?

Hillary Clinton gave nuclear to the Russians, was you responsible with classified information, and President Trump is the one being investigated?!!

    Tell me that’s normal..

  2. Seems the choice of sound-bytes by this questioner is deliberately meant to mislead the public. As example, the context of Donald Trump Jr’s remarks of Russian money. Here is the context of that sound-byte (interview in 2008):

    > As much as we want to take our business over there, Russia is just a different world … really is a scary place

    > And in terms of high-end product influx into the US, Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets; say in Dubai, and certainly with our project in SoHo and anywhere in New York. We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia. There’s indeed a lot of money coming for new-builds and resale reflecting a trend in the Russian economy and, of course, the weak dollar versus the ruble

    > The Trump Organization and Nakheel Properties, the developer of more than $30 billion in real estate in Dubai, have signed a deal in October 2005 creating Trump’s International Hotel and Tower … Trump Organization’s agreement with Nakheel includes exclusive rights for 19 countries in the Middle East region and 17 major brands.

So what is this “high-end product influx into the US”? Here is an example:

    > Trump partnered with the Bayrock Group, a company run by Soviet immigrants, and according to a lawsuit filed, financed by Russian and Kazakhstan money. Together, they developed Trump properties in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and New York.

    > They also planned on opening a Trump Tower in Moscow. However, Trump said in a deposition that the plan fell through after media reports began questioning Trump’s net worth. The partners with Russian ties in the United States backed out.

So now a U.S.-based group operating in the open is a problem because they are Russians? If they are, then why didn’t Obama’s administration (which took office within months of the interview) do anything about them for 8 years?
