A heroic cop pulled a victim out of a burning vehicle after three cars collided at a busy Brooklyn intersection Thursday night, witnesses said.
But the unidentified man, 51, died a short time later at Kings County Hospital, police said.
The crash happened at Nostrand Ave. and Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights around 9:24 p.m., fire officials said.
A man was driving a Ford sedan as a taxi blew the red light while traveling eastbound on the parkway and crashed into the victim’s car traveling southbound on Nostrand Ave., cops said.
The victim’s car went up into flames and the driver became trapped, the FDNY and witnesses said.
The driver of the Ford was taken into police custody and charges were pending Thursday night, cops said.
Misaskim services were not required in this tragc crash.
