Rosh Hashanah 5772 is just hours away, and the streets of Yerushalayim are mobbed with people running to do their Yom Tov preparations.
Be it cleaning fish heads, chopping pomegranates, getting haircuts, or just picking up the laundry – the city is abuzz with preparations for the upcoming “three day” yom tov. Even the Egged Bus Company seemed to be in the Yom Tov “mode”, changing some of the digital signs on their buses to read “Shana Tova!”

What do you mean EVEN EGGED…..? Of course Egged is part of the Yom Tov Spirit as usual, free motzei shabbos busses from the Kotel and Digital Signs wishing everyone a shana tova.
Slowly the State of the Jews will eventually become a JEWISH STATE.

I don’t think the buses on motzei shabbos are meant to be free. From what I’ve heard it’s a service to let you ride without paying immediately, but you have to make it up the next time you travel.
The motzei shabbos bus isnt free. They just allow you to go on without paying after shabbos as they know you won’t have cash on you. You are required to pay for the ride the next time you travel on the bus. Asking the driver the next day to punch your card twice to pay for the previous days ride is an opportunity for a tremendous kiddush Hashem.
