This letter was printed in this weeks Yated. I found it quite amusing.
Dear Editor,
I’m writing to you about the mother of all crises, the letter-to-the-editor crisis. A letter to the editor is supposed to comment about the editor’s insightful editorials. Instead, people who otherwise can’t get their thoughts and opinions published are ‘sneaking’ them in as letters to the editor. This crisis is reaching epidemic proportions, as the letters to the editor have consumed more and more space in the Yated. In hopes of stemming this crisis, I’m doing the only thing I know how to do, namely, writing a letter to the editor. Please print this letter with all the crisis letters to the editor. If this doesn’t work, there shall be no choice but to convene a roundtable discussion about this crisis at an upcoming convention.
