Actually the following was suggested at a VAAD forum in Yeshiva K’tanah on 2nd Street. Ahron Kotler & Benny Heineman both stated that they were begged by the Roshei Yeshiva to be on the Vaad, “We”d rather be home with our families” and you could put up whoever you want. (That’s by electing the Vaad members!) Let’s go for it!
It’s time to focus on establishing the democratically elected Vaad or “Tuvei”. It’s long overdue, but it’s never too late. First we had R’ Yisroel Schenkelowski ??? ??- that was supposed to represent the ????? until the Town grew too big for him to handle alone, so a Vaad ??? ??- was established that was supposed to represent the interests of the ????? . Now we have reached the point when the needs of the entire ????? should be addressed through an elected Vaad or “Tuvei”. Any one that has the ability to bring it to fruition or has any ideas to advance the process may contact us at P.O. Box 172, Lakewood, NJ 08701-0172
As an aside: A temporary fix was suggested that until the time that we have the Elected Vaad in place-All Vaad meetings should be publicized & open to the ????? . This in no way negates the need for an elected vaad.
