Bush mentions Virginia Professor at Holocaust memorial

bush.jpg“We meet at a time of sorrow for our nation. Our flags fly at half-mast in memory of 32 souls whose lives were taken at Virginia Tech on Monday morning. That day we saw horror, but we also saw acts of quiet courage. We saw this courage in a teacher named Liviu Librescu. With the gunman set to enter his class, this brave professor blocked the door with his body while his students fled to safety. On the Day of Remembrance, this Holocaust survivor gave his own life so that others might live. And this morning we honor his memory, and we take strength from his example.” (Source: Whitehouse Website)

  1. If you read this entire speech, it amazes one how Mr. Bush, the President of the united states, the most powerfull man in the WORLD has such respect to the Holocaust and it’s survivors.

  2. Why does it amaze you? He is the same flesh and blood then the rest of us and he has the same emotional capacity,,,,,,,,I dont get it!

  3. Does he in fact have the same flesh and blood? Besides did you read the entire article-qoute “You who are survivors know why the holocaust must be taught to every generation. You who lost your families to the gas chambers of europe watch as jewish cemeteries and synagogues across that continent are defaced and defiled” where in the world do you hear a goyish leader speek such words!

  4. I am not C’V demeaning his sensitivity to Klall Yisroel. He has been sympathetic to us throughout his Presidency on issues far less serious than the horrors of our past, thats why this doesnt surprise me.

WhenI say the ‘same flesh and blood I mean on a humanitarian level.
