Arutz 7 is reporting that the Israeli government is expected to approve the establishment of a new Chareidi city sometime next week which will provide housing for the rapidly growing community. The city will be called “Kasif” & located in the vicinity of Beer Sheva in the Negev. The cities planners are hoping that it will provide housing for 20,000 Chareidi families.

I hope the Chilonim in Be’er Sheva don’t put up a fit.
That’s a good location because it’s a city and it’s also right near Tifrach and Ofakim.
sounds like a nice place to warm up all the kalter litvaks,
dont like the term chareidim, maybe it should be black hatters or ultra orthodox, frum, religious or even gd fearing
I’m with your himmelstein.
What are chareidim, “trembling” about?
Why can’t there be a city in Israel for religious jews of all sorts and stripes? Visit Netanya, Raanana, PetachTivka and there are communities of frum, religious jews living, working, learning and associating together.
The city’s planners. Not the cities planners.
rebbe:
might be “city’s planners’ if that was the intended meaning.
however since “city planner” is an occupation and that is what was probably meant here, city planners would be more appropriate.
talmid
of course to cover all bases:
the city’s city planners might be best
