Fire crews from Fallsburg, Loch Sheldrake, Woodbourne, Wurtsboro, Ellenville, Rock Hill, Monticello, Woodridge, Mountaindale and Liberty, fought a massive blaze for hours at the (former) Lake House Hotel in Woodridge early Tuesday morning.
The main 20,000-square-foot building and several bungalows at the Frum camp were destroyed. No injuries were reported, as the premises were vacant at the time.
The fire, which began around 6:00AM at the former Lake House Hotel, located off Dairyland Road in the town of Woodridge, is under investigation.

I hear ya.
The hotel is not closed down. Only the ownership & the crowd changed. I myself was there 2 years ago. It is full every summer & I know some people who had reservations for this summer. Unfortunately it will be a huge loss. I wonder if they will be able to reopen.
