Arutz 7 is reporting that a Knesset committee has approved a proposal by the Transportation and Road Safety Minister that vehicles be impounded if their drivers are guilty of major traffic violations. The violations include crossing a solid white line and crossing train tracks when red warning lights are flashing. The Knesset committee rejected the minister’s request that vehicles be impounded if they fail safety tests.

Maybe that will put a end to some of the tragic stories we keep reading on this site.
Any yukel who crosses train tracks while the red warning lights are flashing risks a far worse fate than having his car impounded!
dumbest thing i ever heard. maybe just shoot anyone who thinks about crossing even dotted lines. You know what would stop all accidents, I personally guarentee it, impound all cars in israel. period.
makes sense to me – can we adopt these laws in Monsey also??? 🙂
