Yesterday, YW reported (HERE) that the Israeli cabinet approved legislation proposed by Shas that the state would fund Charedi private schools. It was not too long before an anticipated response came from Member of Knesset Yossi Beilin (Meretz-Yahad). He lashed out at the government following the decision by saying “This is a right-wing, Hareidi government, which hurts education.”MK Yaakov Margi of Shas responded by saying that the decision to fund Chareidi schools should have been made long ago. He also responded directly to Beilin, saying, “the government is indeed giving in to Jews, and I’m sorry that bothers you.”

MK Yaakov Margi-I couldn’t have said that last line any better.“the government is indeed giving in to Jews, and I’m sorry that bothers you.”There is nothing which bothers Beilin Yemach Shemo more-Than a frum jew getting his way.
I am outraged as well.
I am outraged that the Israeli government funds secular schools that don’t teach about Shabbos, Torah, Jewish History etc.
So I guess we are even.
Belin is really an Arab
and why don’t we hear from Lapid? another ‘self hating’ jew….
Well, Mrs. Beilin, the right wing is upset that you plant trees. This is politics lefty, sometimes i get my money and most of the time you get yours. Get over it!
I think Lapid is out of Knesset now.
