Just three days ago YW posted THIS post about a Yeshiva Bochur who lost his Tefillin at La Guardia Airport. We now received the following email:We owe a debt of gratitude to www.theyeshivaworld.com for posting our “Lost Tefillin” right away.
We got several phone calls, two of them urging us to call Reb Noach Dear (former NYC Councilman), who was successful recently in a very similar situation.
He answered my call right away.
Although there was very little information on the Yellow cab available, he was able to locate the Cab driver within a very short time. The Tefillin were unharmed and are back at the Yeshiva.
Thank you Reb Noach, Thank you Yeshivaworld.

The cab driver probably couldn’t understand the ENGLISH words “open the trunk” and should be sent back to the country he illeagally came from in the first place!
