The Yemeni Jews of al-Salem celebrated Purim far from their homes last Sunday, in Sana’a’s Tourist City. The group of 45 Jews was forced to flee their homes in the northern province of Sada’a in January, after they received a letter threatening their lives (as reported HERE on YW).

I love their costumes! They look like they’re dressed like Sphardim!
Lichorah, Being Sfardi I don’t think your comment was the least bit humerous and please don’t tell me that your friends are sfardi in order to quell your lack of thought to fellow jews.
These people are Temani NOT Sfardi, please do not refer to them as such and please have the sensitivity to feel for these people who have been suffering so much. These are not costumes this is their everyday dress.
Mak sure you think before you post such a comment!!!! REMEMBER ITS ABOUT AHAVAS YISROEL not making fun of you fellow Jew!
I missed all that. What is geferlich about mistaking one Yid for another?

Lighten up. Lichorah was just making a little harmless Purim joke. Not making fun of Sefardim or Temanim. The joke was practically a joke about his own ignorance that they are not costumes.
we all need to have a sense of humor and not get offended by every little thing. I think that’s a galus mentality, especially here in the states, where everyone is looking for something to complain about.
