Learn how to prepare your shiurim systematically and clearly. Take the stress out of classroom management and discipline. Understand why what you are already doing works well and how to replicate that in other areas.

The New and Revised Art and Science of Melamdus, designed and delivered by Rabbi Shalom Storch, is intended for experienced Rebbeim, novice Rebbeim and aspiring Rebbeim. The class is offered online from the comfort and learning environment of your own home or office. This online class is fully interactive with the latest technology has to offer!

Continuous engagement through the use of:

  • breakout sessions
  • polling
  • simultaneous responses on whiteboard
  • testing after sessions
  • Video and file sharing
  • All sessions are recorded and available for review

There are two modules to choose from: Module A, Planning and Delivering a Lesson, is designed to adapt principles of learning into user friendly language for Rebbeim to work with. Present, Process and Practice are the three foundations worked with. This method, once mastered is guaranteed to make preparation for teaching of any subject pleasant and enjoyable.

Module B, Classroom Management and Discipline is designed with the foundational principle that a classroom must be a safe and productive learning environment in order for learning to take place. Mastering the Rules of Rules, how to maintain the Rebbi’s presence in the classroom through simple methods, takes the stress out of teaching.

  • Menahalim who recommend a Rebbi on their staff will receive a recording of the class, affording the Menahel another opportunity to support his staff.
  • Experienced Rebbeim, who have taken the course in the past have learned why the successful practices they already use really work! This enables, even the experienced Rebbi to replicate those practices and eliminate those that don’t.
  • Chavrei Hakollel and aspiring Rebbeim have learned about the professionalism of “Melamdus”. There is a method and system that works! Coupling the methods with their dedication, creativity and passion, helps create a Rebbi who has a stronger Kesher in the chain of Mesorah.

Module A will take place on Monday evenings, 9:00 pm – 10:30 pm EST

Module B will take place on Wednesday evenings 9:00 pm – 10:30 pm EST
