Neturei Karta members who attended the Holocaust denial conference in Iran will now be banned entrance to Eretz Yisroel by Interior Minister Ronnie Bar-On as published in Friday’s Yedioth Ahronot newspaper.
The conference held over a month ago caused a great storm throughout the Jewish world and Israel, the most shocking detail being the attendance of members of the ultra-Orthodox Jewish group Neturei Karta, who were even photographed kissing Holocaust denier Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Ten of the Neturei Karta members attending the conference have been identified by name, and it was ordered by Bar-On in a letter to the Population Registrar Director Sassi Katzir that these men should be prevented from entering Israel.
In his letter, Bar-On wrote: “I hereby order that entrance to Israel of those participating in the conference be denied. According to various publications, members of Neturei Karta took part in the conference. You are requested to look into these publications, and if it turns out that members of this community did attend, their entrance to Israel should be denied.”

GREAT one thing I agree with the Israeli government. Why should Israel be more lax than Germany etc on its holocaust denial laws???
True, however lets not forget there is also the feeling of revenge because of their demeaning campaign against the State.
Well, it’s about time something intelligent was done. These so-called religious zealots have turned their backs on Judaism, Jews (of all backgrounds), Holocaust survivors & have associated themselves with the likes of Haman HaRasha. If Iran is so wonderful, let them go live there. Obviously, staging a protest in front of their homes & bombarding them with phone calls hasn’t seemed to diminish their enthusiasm for Sonei Yisroel. As one wife of a Neturei Karta put it “we don’t know the whole story”. That’s very nice, I can’t imagine that there would be 2 sides to such horrific behavior. Perhaps that now that they will be denied entrance into Eretz Yisroel & unable to visit all the Mekomos Hakdoshim, perhaps, just perhaps, they’ll finally realize how sick they truly are. Then again, maybe not.
