The North Fork Bank at 13th Avenue at 46th Street was robbed this afternoon. No weapon was actually shown. The teller handed the perp money but included a “red dye-pack” which exploded a block away scattering money all over the street. NYPD and Shomrim Patrol responded, but they got away. The search continues. (More pics in YW Photo Album)

The bank should have had “ON- STAR”
was it the same guy as the carjacking? maybe the shomrim will find him too..
who picked up the money from the street? can you be mechabed the oilem, and tell us which street it spilled on (lshem mitztvos hashovas aveida).
Joseph, an FYI: a red dye-pack is one where fake “bait” bills are sandwiched around some explosives. There’s nothing worthwhile to keep or return.
kitzur, its just colored. there is no fake currency. it is “highly” illegal for fake currency to be used for any reason.
so was it real money that the guy got or not ???????
as green as the money in your wallet.
Joseph, I’m not quite sure about that one. Read this article from the FBI.
Forget the money, marbeh n’chasim marbeh daagos, were the perps caught?
Joseph: You could find out where the money dropped but they have every serial number of every dollar bill so it’s not worth it, but if you happen to get any money I have a simon on it and its mine. My simon is that the bills are red.
