A child was run over by a car at 1:40PM (this afternoon) and was pinned underneath the vehicle. Hatzolah arrived on the scene at 47th Street and 9th Avenue to find the child still trapped underneath the car. NYPD ESU and FDNY responded quickly and extricated the child. The child (from Pupa Yeshiva) was transported to Lutheran Trauma Center with non-life threatening injuries. (Photo courtesy of Lipa) More pics in the Photo Album.

Chasdei Hasehm – thanx for the wonderful news. Does this child need our Teffilos for a complete Refua? If so, please provide the name for Tehillim.

CHAZAK U’BARUCH
boruch hashem the boy is doing well.I think its important to relize that although we all see the hashgacha and the miracle that happened today in truth there are countless miracles that happen to each of us each day.Maybe if we would relize and appriciate these ”small” miracles we would not need the ”big” miracles to make us relize that hashem runs the world.
LET THE TRUTH BE TOLD. THE BOY WAS EXTRICATED BY THE HATZOLAH MEMBERS BEFORE THE ESU AND FDNY GOT TO THE SCENE. A HATZALOH MEMBER TOOK A JACK OUT OF HIS CAR AND JACKED UP THE CAR THAT THE BOY WAS PINNED UNDER AND PULLED OUT THE KID.
thank you everyone for your comments and keep on praising hashem….
I am amazed at the amount of misinformation this site generates. The child was actually removed by Shomrim. It was a shomrim member working for Pupa that requested backup with a jack, and requested Hatzolah and FDNY to respond. Shomrim had the car jacked as the first Hatzoloh units were arriving.
הודו לה’ כי טוב כי לעולם חסדו
There is now a שאלה that his father has to ask about bentching הגומל. We once had a similar situation רחמנא לצלן, and the rov said not to say this ברכה on a child’s נס והצלה
Nu, so was it hatzolo or shomrim that first jacked up car? No matter, both groups are really tzadikim.
Who cares who it was? At least the child is alive and hopefully almost fully well. The two groups must have had a 4 minute diffrence. Thanks to Hatzolah, Shomrim, FDNY & NYPD!!!!!!!!!
To ny100k: This site doesn’t have misinformation its just that people didn’t hear it exactly correctly. It happens to the best of us.
