The 1500 children learning in Yeshiva Torah V’yirah located at Street and Ft. Hamilton Parkway was evacuated a short while ago after the FDNY and Con-Edison requested that they do so. Their request was due to many man-holes in the area which are smoking, and a high level of Carbon Monoxide readings in the Yeshiva building. The boys are now on school buses.

Someone in the area should please make sure the windows of the busses are open if the busses are running or we will be dealing with the same problem both in the Yeshiva and on the busses.

Boruch Hashem they evacuated who knows what couldv’e happened if they didn’t request them to evacuate. I hope they are back in the building already.
Is this in any way connected to the Manhattan gas scare??
