   If you actually read the article you would see the answer to your question.

   “Military analysts said the disclosure of the plans could be intended to put pressure on Tehran to halt enrichment, cajole America into action or soften up world opinion in advance of an Israeli attack.”

2. very unwise repeating something like this, it gives the story credibility. even it it were true it is not prudent to lea plans to the world!

I’m actually surprised that such a story made it to the media.Imagine they would have leaked this type of info before the entebee raid…before the iraq attack….before ’82…..secrecy was one of israels top priority-and secrets to success.This won’t soften anybody up-besides,they have the american govt. backing in this…

7. The greatest asset in the military/intelligence world is disinformation/misinformation. Very often, secret battle plans etc…. are somehow allowed to fall into enemy hands for disinformation purposes.

   It;s very possible this was purposely leaked by the Israeli govt to either
   1) hide their REAL attack plan
   2) see the Iranian response (i.e. military deployments, govt response etc….)
   3) a complete bluff
   4) a combo of any/all/none of the above

   Isn’t military strategy fun????????

    You took the words out of my mouth, the israelis are not stupid, if this leaked to the media – it was done purposly for any of the reasons you mentioned above,

11. I hope they do nuke Iran, & when they are finished, mabey they can scoot over and wipe out Saudi Arabia too…
