By the way, the electrical co. in Israel doesn’t use Jews on Shabbos, just Goyim (since a few months ago)!
MDshweks I believe you are mistaken. Someone I know called the electric company a week ago on erev shabbos to repair a power outtage and they asked him if he is dati-religious. The reason for the question was bec they were going to send a jew to make the repairs. The caller asked if they can send a non jew and the reply was no.
However, there are discussions to replace the jewish shabbos staff with non-jews, but it hasnt yet happened.
