1. I hope they will find someone to take it. Customs and security are sooo strict lately that people try to avoid doing such favors. I also think that sending this with a courieur service might be abetter idea.

   How do you know that’s not a scam trying to get some illegal substance to israel. either way the request stating choleh mesukan would still hold true. Let this not make anyone not do it I’m just saying that you should be careful and open-minded. YW might also not know this and is just trying to help somone But since I know of something like this in the past I just want to make everyone aware of this while you do this great mitzvah.

   Please dont demean the opinions of the commentators, SHAYAZ is 100 per cent right! Its been heard of before that people have decieved others by sending thingss which were illegal and dangerous. Although its aMitzvah to be Dan lecuf zechus, one CANNOT be naive and must take precautions!

9. we should open up a “secure package to eretz yisroel” gemach
   where the substance is checked by a 3rd party to make sure its legit.
   this way real cholim get their medicenes & shluchim are relaxed.
