A strong winter storm hit Eretz Yisroel today and already has dumped more than one inch of much-needed rain on the north, and snow is falling on the Chermon mountains. Light snow still is being forecast as a possibility in Yerushalayim and in higher altitude areas in the northern Negev and Chevron Hills. The rain is forecast to continue Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
