A 60-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run accident in the Yerushalayim neighborhood of Gilo. Police were searching the area for the car. In Ashdod a 84-year-old female pedestrian was critically injured when a car struck her.

Police in Yerushalayim anounced today that the driver of the car that killed a pedestrian yesterday in Gilo had turned himself in. The driver claimed that he thought a stone had hit his car and he was not aware of striking anyone!
