The Rabbinical Court in Haifa issued a very strong ruling against the release of a large number of terrorists in exchange for kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit, warning that such a step would lead to a disaster of the magnitude of the expulsion from Gush Katif.
Rabbi Gedalia Axelrod, Av Beit Din of Haifa, issued the ruling following Saturday night’s meeting between Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, after reports were received of the possible release of a large number of terrorists from prison in exchange for Shalit.

It doesn’t matter what he rules. Olmert doesn’t listen to anyone, least of all to the head of the Haifa B.D.
That’s an interesting way to measure disasters.
kishke-“It doesn’t matter what he rules.”Of course it matters what the bais din rules….That olmert won’t listen to him is another story.
