  1. BEING THAT WE LIVE IN A MEDINA SHEL CHESED
    WHICH PREACHES RELIGIOUS FREEDOM
THEY MAKE A POINT OF INVITING PEOPLE OF DIFFERENT RELIGIONS TO SHOW RESPECT TO THAT PARTICULAR RELIGION
AS CHANUKA IS A TIME THAT THE REST OF THE WORLD RECOGNIZES AS A JEWISH HOLIDAY OUT OF RESPECT TO JUDIASIM
THEY INVITE A FEW RABBIS A FEW RELIGIOUS POLITICALLY CONNECTED CHEVRA ETC WHO ARE TIED IN WITH THE SITTING PARTY
WHETHER REPUBLICAN OR DEMOCRAT WHO EVER HAPPENS TO BE SITTING IN THE WHITE HOUSE THAT YEAR. THIS IS AN OLD TRADITION
THE DIFFRENCE IS THAT AS OF LAST YEAR THE BUSH’S WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO ACCOMODATE THEIR KOSHER KEEPING GUESTS
WITH STRICTLY GLATT KOSHER FOOD ACTUALLY PREPARED AT ONE OF THE THE WHITEHOUSE KITCHENS THAT IS KASHERED JUST FOR THIS ONE PARTY
IN THE PAST THE FOOD WAS BROUGHT IN FROM OUTSIDE CAUSING SECURITY CONCERNS ETC
HOPE THIS CLEARS UP SOME OF YOUR READERS QUESTIONS
