Another six month delay in moving US embassy

American President George W. Bush has ordered the routine six-month delay in executing a Congressional law that the American embassy be moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The law allows the President to postpone the move every six months.

The President repeated a routine declaration that he “remains committed to beginning the process of moving our embassy to Jerusalem.” His and prior administrations have postponed the move because of fears of a fierce Arab reaction.
