Last evening, a few minutes before midnight a group of hooded armed men stormed into Monsey Glatt on Route 59 – and put a gun to the managers head demanding he hand over the money. He was then beaten, and the gunmen escaped with an unknown amount of money. He was transported by Hatzolah to the hospital, and detectives are hunting for the gunmen.

Wow. I just shopped there yesterday. My wife shopped there on Wednesday, I believe. Who can believe that such a thing would happen here in Monsey? Monsey has changed. It isn’t the good old quiet Monsey that it used to be. This is a terrible thing for the owner, and a bad sign of the times for Monsey.
