Sweden’s Cabinet has agreed to help finance security for Jewish communities by pledging to pay $424,000 of the communities $707,000 security costs. Swedish Jews increasingly have been the victims of anti-Semitic attacks, primarily carried out by Arab Swedes, according to community sources. The measure is expected to pass Parliament next month. (There are 20,000 Jews in Sweden.)
