Hate crime against NYS Assembly candidate

Workers at the campaign headquarters for New York State Republican Assembly candidate Greg Ball arrived on Wednesday morning to find someone had left messages of hate and swastikas all over the doors and walls.

The storefront in Pawling had hate words spray-painted on the doors and walls, along with some orange swastikas.

Ball is running in the 99th state Assembly district, which covers parts of Dutchess, Putnam, and Westchester counties. He defeated long-time incumbent Willis Stephens in a Republican Primary. He now faces Democrat Kenneth Harper.
